There are a lot of work, testing, and preparations for Oracle BPM redeployment within our project these past few months. Having a lot of design dependency and complexity made the system harder to test. The overall system core design is acceptable but it is not without a flaw. Polishing flaw and adding patches have an impact in maintainability if not properly thought of. This new project is just a bit painful.
On the side, I am also working on the Js13k framework that I would be using this year. I plan to create an animated sprite that would roughly be around less than 100 bytes of data. It is not a compression method but leveraging on a restrictive conversion to save bytes.
The school holiday just started in Singapore, our family planned and went to Hong Kong at this end of May.

It has been a busy April, we did a lot of oracle bpm redeployment preparation and execution. This weekend I spent my time with my family going around Singapore Art Museum. We have been in this place for a few time but it still has the solemn church like feeling everytime we drop by the museum. The museum also have a kids play section which my kids loves to drop by.

Kids waiting for the food for dinner. We stopped giving them Ipad or Tablets to pacify them, instead we use crayons and drawing books.

Cannot help myself but write something about this day. A great mind has passed, aiming for a simple but a big goal. “My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.” - Stephen Hawking.
Hawking was an open atheist, but I would still send him my regards to the maker. “When people ask me if a god created the universe, I tell them that the question itself makes no sense. Time didn’t exist before the big bang, so there is no time for god to make the universe in. It’s like asking directions to the edge of the earth; The Earth is a sphere; it doesn’t have an edge; so looking for it is a futile exercise. We are each free to believe what we want, and it’s my view that the simplest explanation is; there is no god. No one created our universe, and no one directs our fate. This leads me to a profound realization; There is probably no heaven, and no afterlife either. We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe, and for that I am extremely grateful.” - Stephen Hawking.
Good reads for his quotes.
