We plan to drop by Singapore National Gallery for the sunset light works. After alighting in City Hall MRT, we grabbed a quick Japanese Soba lunch at the renovated Funan Mall. We had a few shots and browsed a couple of stores.
Joyce played in the open grounds while waiting for the sunset. Jace is also freely running in the open field. The field had a great view facing the National Gallery and a farground of Marina Bay Sands. A band played near the diners area. There is also a set of musicials taking the tunes. The light show had brief intervals but most of them are worth seeing. It was enjoyable if you are with your family or friends.
Grocery during or pre-CNY (Chinese New Year) is a nightmare, expect a crowded supermarket and over stocked goods making the entire market stuffy.
Cityhall, Funan and Capitol Theater
Mix of old and new Singapore...
We dropped by Cityhall MRT station, which is beside the St. Andrews Cathedral. Across the street is the Capitol Theater, it is something like Theater in Recto Avenue back in Manila. Beside is the newly renovated Funan Mall. Inside the Funan Mall is a posh setup for teens, unlike the old Electronic Mall it used to be.
Took some photo of Joyce and Katrina in Funan Mall. A few shots with the standard mall displays. The mall is fun and has an energetic feel to it. There is also a wall climbing setup in the middle of the mall.
Singapore National Gallery Light to Night
Bringing dull walls to life...
Singapore National Art Gallery. The gray cemented walls, it reflects the age of early singapore during the colonial period. The metal roof dome can help you easily recognize the building within the perimeter.
Open grounds. Kids are playing and having fun. Music and lights. Family and friend gathering. Best of all it is free, food and drinks are expensive as expected in Singapore.
A tourist catching night lightshow. What is nice about this place is that, the area is family friendly with alot of kids around, at the same time it is for teens and adults who whats to gets some fun.

Insta 360 One X Rapid Workflow Guide
How to deliver fast 360 content for insta360 one...
Just like any social media item, you want to do it fast and delivery it fast. Like in life you need to set a fixed deadline and be contented on what is available and just delivery them. If you dont delivery it now, it wont get delivered at all. Below is a few tips to do a quick insta360 workflow.
Tips for video capture.
- Avoid long video (greater than 30 seconds), unless you will make it as a hyperlapse.
- For Hyperlapse, mark or note the place of slow down. This will reduce the burden of your post editing, since you can just ramp the speed without looking.
- Edit the speed adjustment first before the focal view.
- I prefer 4k 50 fps, rather than 5k 25fps. The 50 fps can give you room to do a decent 1/2 speed.
- Transfer on idle time, and use the cable. Export in edited mode and in 360 mode. Delete video from 360 app once exported.
- Avoid log mode in video.
- Max edit time per video should be 5 mins, excluding export.
Tips for photo capture.
- Create only one-max-three photo of a shot in the same location. Normally you don't post multiple shots of the same place for 360.
- If you have a moving, hard shot subject (like my son Jace), take a short 10 second video instead.
- Use the 3 second timer instead of the phone camera remote.
- Avoid log mode in photo.
- Max edit item per phone is 1 min.
Space Time: Solution to the Three Body Problem
Interested how planets react to one another, checkout the common 3 body problem...
I am not astrophysist so I'll just leave the discussion in the video and this wiki Three-body-problem. Math and physics amazes me and how we can understand more of our universe.
